The ROFGO Gulf Collection by Duncan Hamilton is one man’s dream of assembling the most significant assortment of racing automobiles ever before to contend in the legendary colours of Gulf Oil. The collection comprises 14 of the most notable Gulf Oil-liveried competition cars and has been created by Duncan Hamilton  Co.’s Chairman, Adrian Hamilton, for an unnamed but certainly passionate and extremely rich customer.

All 14 automobiles had been tracked down and acquired in just two years. The collection includes a assortment of versions ranging in age from the 1967 Mirage, which was the 1st Gulf-liveried auto to run at Le Mans, to the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo that competed in the GT2 Championship.
Commenting on the collection, Adrian Hamilton stated: “My career has been punctuated by a lot of impressive vehicles eg the 1 and only Mercedes-Benz 196 Grand Prix car in personal hands, some nine Ferrari 250 GT0s, twenty GT40s, 7 Porsche 917s and several Jaguar C and D-Sorts etc – but handful of projects have been as pleasurable and enjoyable as this one. Like all racing enthusiasts I’ve grown up with the Gulf brand and it is a huge privilege to be in a position to build such a unique and lasting tribute to one of the best names in our sport. I am really indebted to my customer for the chance.”
A total of twelve cars from the ROFGO Gulf Collection by Duncan Hamilton will get their initial public outing for all to see at Retromobile, an yearly display of classic street and racing cars, which takes place at Porte de Versailles in Paris, from February 2 to six.
